There are some moments that are so memorable that they leave an indelible impression that will never be erased. Tonight was one of them. My time with the West Middlesex Choir and Chamber Singers was one of those special moments. To be able to be with my friends and peers is something that I’ll look back on and cherish the memories.

It was a good way to end my high school career – full of laughter and a lot of antics.  Since it was the last time that I would stand on the stage with my classmates, it was slightly bittersweet. We have been together through what seemed like an eternity.  Each practice was met with a certain degree of disdain, but I didn’t know then what I know now. I’ve come to appreciate those times and their value. We never had a lot of time to begin with, nobody does and I think that’s what makes it so valuable. Would I change the way I did anything though? Not at all. In the day in and day out aspect, it sucked a lot. But now that I can look back at the years in total, I can say it really wasn’t too bad. I’m excited to see what the future holds for my classmates and me,  and this was just one of the moments to finish off something that’s been a long time coming.

To my Choir Director, Mrs. Kelli Burlett and my classmates at WM, I’m thankful to have been a part of something great. Thank you for the laughs and for allowing me to share this journey with you.

Hey, thanks for stopping by. My name's Josiah and I'm passionate about this life that I've been given and I intend on living it to the fullest!

I have been asked about receiving graduation gifts. Since I’m working my way through college, my biggest need is my college fund. It’s a huge expense and I’m honestly grateful for anything that you wish to give towards it. Thanks for asking, for cheering me on and for your kindness. I promise to work hard and pay it forward in any way I can! – Josiah P.
